Accessibility

Built for everyone.

The Warren Federation is committed to ensuring that our digital presence is usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use to access the web. Accessibility is part of how we leave the world better than we found it.

01

WCAG 2.1 AA

We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard recommended by the W3C for accessible web content.

02

Keyboard & assistive tech

The site is built to be navigable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator, a skip-to-content link, and semantic landmarks so screen readers can move through it with ease.

03

Motion & contrast

We honor the operating-system 'reduce motion' setting, pausing decorative animation for those who request it, and we hold text and interface colors to AA contrast ratios.

Conformance status

We assess this site against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and remediate issues on an ongoing basis. The Federation site is largely conformant, meaning it meets the standard with some minor exceptions that we are actively addressing. Accessibility is treated as a continuous practice, not a one-time audit.

If you encounter a barrier, we want to fix it. Please reach out and tell us what happened, the page you were on, and the assistive technology you were using, if any.
